Second Chances: Training & Social Reintegration
Fundación Acción Interna is actively participating in the IFC Social Impact Prize 2025 with its Second Chances project, an initiative that empowers incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals in Colombia through vocational training and job placement.
The project combines technical skills, psychosocial support, and partnerships with the private sector to foster both social and economic reintegration. By breaking cycles of exclusion, reducing recidivism, and creating pathways to dignified employment, Second Chances demonstrates that investing in reintegration not only transforms lives but also contributes to building more inclusive and peaceful societies.
